Meniscus fixed followed by 8 weeks of rest and PT and I’m back at it! Still lots of strength to build back up but I’m getting there and happy to be back on the court!

Took the boys for their checkup yesterday! Both are still growing strong!
Maxwell is 100 lbs (16th %) and 5’3 (20th %). Last year he was 5′.5 and 89 lbs. so he grew 2.5 inches and gained 11 lbs.
Spencer is 89 lbs (4oth %) and 5’1 (68th %). Last year Spencer was 4’10 and 83 lbs so he grew 3 inches and gained 6 lbs.
Both had to get their finger pricked and Spencer had to get a shot.

Always thankful for healthy, growing kids!
Dentist back in December! I might have had to take them at two different times during the day to accommodate school schedules but that’s ok. We got it all in!

Clean teeth, no cavities. Check check!
What more could a kid want to do on the very first day of summer than go to the dentist, right? At least we got it out of the way for another 6 months…

No cavities and mostly great reports…one particular child needs to do a little better job brushing but he’s on it now! Smile!
Well, Maxwell had a boot when he was 2, Spencer had a boot when he was 7, so Samantha didn’t want to be left out and got a boot last week!

She hurt it jumping on the trampoline – with a ball – last Friday. She played her soccer game the next day on it but it hurt pretty bad. When she was still complaining Monday after school I decided it was time to go to the doctor. We went up to OS1 which is a pediatric walk-in orthopedic clinic and it was fantastic. Thankfully nothing is broken. She just has some strained ligaments and needs to wear a boot for 7 to 10 days. That deserved a pink drink from Starbucks of course!

She made the best of it at school last week…

Even wore that boot for PJ day!

Then she decided to play in her soccer games this past weekend. We wrapped it up and she managed but she’s got the boot back on this week and still staying out of tumble.

It will be all healed up soon and she’ll be back good as new in no time.
