The last Friday of summer!! We’re picking up this baller today and I cannot wait to give him a big hug!

See you next week!
Last weekend we made the drive to NC again for some important camp stuff! First we took Samantha to visit Camp Greystone.

It was a HIT! Samantha was all about it and wanted to just stay for the rest of the summer! I’m so glad it worked out for us to do a tour. Getting to actually see the camp is going to make her even more excited to go next summer. Sewing, jewelry making, gymnastics, giant water slides, an impressive ropes course – it was all pretty awesome. I think the cooking class where the girls were making homemade pasta was maybe the most awesome!

We also got to see lots of the animals on the farm…

and the puppy farm!

Overall it was a great tour and the next morning we dropped Spencey off for two weeks of fun at Falling Creek!!

Miss him but know he’s having so much fun.
In addition to the overnights, Maxwell did all the usual fun stuff at camp too…
Archery…

Capture the flag…

I spotted him in the crowd at the Highlands Games…

He even played chess!

He also played lots of tennis which made me very happy!

I’m so glad this fantastic kid had such a great time at camp!!

Now I’m so glad he’s home and these three are back together!

Summer fun!
The second 3 day paddling trip looked like just as much fun as the first…but with an awesome waterfall!

How awesome is this pic?!

Looks like they found that rope swing again…

can’t beat it!
Maxwell went on some overnight adventures while at camp including two different 3 day paddling trips!

What a great picture!

Maxwell said there was a small hole in their tent and it rained a little so that wasn’t great…and he said the food wasn’t the best…but I think the rope swing made up for all of that!

What a fun experience!!
