Oh, yes, the birthday celebrations continue! You only turn 3 once after all! 💗 On Tuesday, Samantha took treats to school to celebrate in class!

And what cute Little Mermaid cookies they were!

Se had a great day at school, got a birthday crown, and enjoyed the cookies! Mrs. Betsy sent me this picture…

Have you ever seen a happier 3 year old?! Being 3 is awesome!

Happy weekend

Samantha sure did have a happy day on Saturday – her 3rd birthday – and the celebrations continued all weekend long! The day stared with lots of balloons and a pink doughnut with candles…

She even got to go to Maxwell’s basketball game! ha!

She got to pick lunch (Chick-Fil-A) and we all enjoyed her fantastic mermaid cake!

That night there were presents including lots of new pjs and a car seat of her baby doll!

The next day everyone got to go to Disney on Ice to continue the celebrations! I think it was a hit…especially the popcorn, cotton candy, and sno-cones they got to have!

Samantha was cracking me up during the show. When the witch from Snow White came out Samantha said “Why is her grandma so mad??”. When the skaters would spin she’d say “Whoa! He’s getting dizzy!” When Ariel and Sebastian came out without Flounder she was VERY concerned and I probably heard “Where IS FLOUNDER?!” about 10 times! Frozen was definitely her favorite part but, again, she was very concerned that Sven was not there! She also kept saying that she thought we were going to be skating…ha! Maybe another time baby girl!

THREE!

Samantha is a THREE year old! As she will clearly tell you, she is not a baby. She is a big girl! The sweetest, most precious, precocious, friendly big girl! She keeps us on our toes, makes us laugh, and also makes us want to pull our hair out. 😉 Oh, I love her so.

Oh, how boring our lives would be without this ray of sunshine! She loves her baby dolls, her brothers (though she clearly knows her power and will refuse their hugs just to make them mad! ha!), her momma (clear favorite here! it’s wonderful and exhausting), her Baa-Baa, her bed, and mermaids! She’s a great sleeper, a good eater, and a happy kid. She loves going to school to play with her buddies but I think her favorite days are dance and gymnastics days! She’s athletic and coordinated and has no problem keeping up with her big brothers. We still call her Toots, or Tootie, or Baby, or Squishy…or Samantha. She says breakiful for breakable and pooter for computer. She’s flat out ADORABLE.

This one has an opinion! Oh yes! She is strong-willed but also sugar sweet. Personality coming out of her ears! Life is going to be an adventure with this one.
