Happy Monday! We’re just getting home from a weekend of travel and catching up. Thought I’d start your week off right with a picture of Spencey in some footy pi’s….

It basically doesn’t get any cuter.
Make it a great day!

Saturday is going to be a good day – it’s Robert’s birthday!!!

Happy, happy birthday Robert aka Soccer Coach, Dishwasher Unloader, Burger Griller, Light Bulb Changer, and Best Dad Ever. Being you has to be exhausting some days….

We’re so glad you make all the effort! Hope it’s the BEST BIRTHDAY YET!
We love you!
A few weeks ago, we went to family night at The Club and, in addition to the kid’s DJ, they also had some special football visitors! My boys were decked out in their AL colors…

and were excited to meet Big Al himself!

The UAB Blazer dragon was also there…

I can’t say either of the boys were a fan of the dragon! The Auburn Tiger was supposed to be there too but he was a no-show. That didn’t bother my elephant loving boys though! We had a great night dancing…

and playing outside.

It was a fun time as always! Roll Tide!

See you tomorrow!
First, Happy October! My favorite month! 🙂
Second, I may have all boys but, as you’ve seen, playing dress-up is very serious business around here. It happens daily.
We’re construction workers…

Policemen giving out tickets…

directing traffic…

and putting trouble makers under arrest!

We also save the world as superheroes…

But, most often, we’re firemen…as if there was any doubt!

And don’t think the dressing up is limited to home. Oh no, our outfits travel sometimes!

And apparently dressing up at school is the most fun too!

I love this age.
Last weekend we had Maxwell’s second soccer game and thankfully got to be on the shady side of the field! Score! Maxwell had another great game and really hustled up and down that field!
Baby brother helping him warm up…

and really wanting to be able to play with him!

Let me tell ya, trying to entertain Spencer during these games is definitely the hardest part of it all! But, we survive and I still manage to get lots of good pictures of my star soccer player.
After a few drills…

and a little pep talk from Coach Dad…

Maxwell was ready to play! He got in and scored a GOAL!!! right away! Go Maxwell!

There was plenty of running up and down the field…

a water break…

a pep talk from Coach Mike (who is a real firefighter!)

and then it was back in the game to score another GOAL!!!

After the game, both teams shook hands…

and Maxwell was pretty pleased with his performance!

Game 2 and 2 goals!

Go Maxwell go!
