It’s been a full week of swim lessons, gymnastics, school, work, and LOTS and LOTS of house decisions. Very productive and fun but leaving us all feeling like this…

Here’s to a good and restful weekend ahead!
From Spencer’s teacher at school…
Mary Catherine and Stephanie,
I am sending both of you this picture of Spencer. He is putting his hands on his cheeks and saying “Oh No” just like Hamp does. I have tried to get a picture of Hamp doing this but he always moves. They do this when we walk through the school and come to one of the many locked doors. It is so funny to see both of them doing this like it’s a major problem. They all know I have the key to unlock the doors so they look at me when we get to the doors. So cute.

Love my sweet baby and his friends.
It’s back again – school picture time. Once again, not our best! ha! Let’s remember where we’ve been…

and this year…

A hairbrush would have gone a long way! He’s still cute though.
Unfortunately, Spencer was NOT feeling the pictures according to his teacher and wouldn’t even let her sit him down to even attempt a picture. So, no lovely school pictures for Spencey. Oh well. Here’s his from last year…

Maybe next year will be our year…or maybe not! 🙂
Is it Friday yet? Oh wait, happy Monday! Yep, our weekend was busy busy busy. I think the next few weeks are going to be busy busy busy too! We’re in full swing on all of the new house renovations and it’s not slowing down until we move in. Here’s how our weekend went down…
GJ was here at the end of last week because she and I met with a decorator for a few hours and it was great. We walked away with some really good ideas and PAINT COLORS! hooray! I had a good idea of what I wanted – and had the samples to check out – but the decorator helped us hone in on what will look really good. I can’t wait to see it all transformed.

On Saturday, we picked up some breakfast and headed over to the new house to check things out. We were pleased to see the painters over there! Gotta meet that deadline!

The painters were pleased to see all the AL hats on my boys’ heads! Roll Tide!

Later that morning, we headed out to Lowe’s to check out fridges. The boys had no problems entertaining themselves there!

The day wasn’t all work though, we managed to find time for a little play…

and to cheer Alabama on to a (very stressful!) victory over LSU!
Sunday it was breakfast…

and back to the house. I’m so glad to have such good helpers…

and it doesn’t hurt that they’re pretty cute too! 🙂

The boys then took their dimples to Sunday school…

and we all managed to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL fall weather we’re having. So thankful for that!
It was a busy but great weekend. Now I’ve got to get back to picking hardware, researching door knobs, finding wallpaper….it’s fun!
We’ve had a busy week around here!
Post Halloween dress up has continued…

The boys have been loving their “construction boots”…

They enjoyed a little iPad time while Robert had football on the tv…

We got dressed up in church clothes and went to church…

My cuties rocked their boots to school (Maxwell’s request!)…

We played tiger, jaguar, cheetah over and over and over and over…

Hmmm…what else did we do this week? Oh yea, we CLOSED ON OUR NEW HOUSE!

Woohoo! We’re all pretty excited to call this place “home” in a few short weeks.

For now, the contractors are working away and I’ve got my little helpers choosing some paint colors!

It’s going to be a busy 5 weeks to get everything done before we move in but we can do it! It was a fun week for sure!

See you next week!
