Happy Monday! Productive weekend? yes! That much closer to moving into the new house? yes! I got so much good stuff done this weekend – cleaned things out so we can pack,  made some more decisions on the new house, stuffed/addressed/stamped all of my Christmas cards, all of us made it to church together – check check! I even went to the grocery store on Saturday night to avoid the rain and crowds on Sunday. It feels good to get stuff done! The boys benefit from our productiveness too – a new movie from our run to Target, a trip to get frozen yogurt as a treat, and even a trip to Lowe’s….doesn’t get much better than that (well, unless it’s Home Depot if you ask Maxwell)!

Bob the Builder and his crews have been busy this week building cabinets…

and unexpectedly tearing up the bedroom floor!

Needless to say, these two are loving getting to visit a real live construction site daily…

But we’re all ready for it to be finished!

Happy Monday! Our weekend was kind of like…second verse, same as the first!  Starbucks, new house, play, football, Starbucks, new house, etc.

One major difference from last weekend?  The temps! It was COLD around here! Luckily, I had just gotten the boys some new puffy coats on sale at Gap…

We started the weekend on Thursday afternoon (bc Friday is really part of the weekend, right?) with much needed haircuts…

and then a trip to the new house to check things out where I always have even more help than I knew I needed!

Saturday morning, Starbucks for us and some ChickFilA for the painters because everyone was there working!

That afternoon, we squeezed in some fireman play…

and watched AL beat undefeated Mississippi State!  Roll Tide!

and then Maxwell got a special treat – Lila’s birthday party at gymnastics!  Fun stuff!
