It’s always hard to get back into the swing of things after a holiday break. Hopefully you have a little help today to get you where you’re going…

I love this little helper!

I love this little helper!
Gobble Gobble!

So much to be thankful for.

Enjoy the day!
As you know, we love AL football around here…Roll Tide!

The boys got to go to their first real game on Saturday and LOVED it!

Yes, they loved the football, but they also loved the popcorn, cookies, chicken fingers, pizza, and everything else they ate! ha!

Pretty sure Spencer’s favorite part was using the rail as a slide!

What a treat for these guys. Huge thank you to Ronnie for the box ticket hookup!

Roll Tide Roll!

One of my favorite days of the year – school picture day!! I just love comparing all the years. Starting with Maxwell…
2011…

2012…

2013…

2014…

2015 (this one was a winner!)…

and this year!

They only get one pose for the pictures at MBE but you can choose from some fancy background options…

haha! Think we’ll stick to the traditional blue.
On to Spencer…
He started off strong in 2013….

Then we didn’t get one from 2014 because he wouldn’t sit for the photographer. Yep, his teacher said he just wouldn’t do it. Oh well.
2015 brought this lovely gem (I’m almost wishing he had pulled a 2014 stunt again! ha!)…

But this year showed major improvement! Look at this little smile!

We also got a belly laughing Spencer…

and a fake smile Spencer!

I’ll take it! And please note he’s wearing the same shirt as Maxwell. Not planned but Spence just happened to pick that shirt that day so it made me happy! 🙂
Now, Samantha’s first school picture!!

I could just die she’s so cute.

And could she and Spencer look any more alike?! Love these kiddos.
How’s that for a good way to start the week?! Happy Monday!
Around here lately all the kids are dealing with major coughs and colds – largely due to to the super dry conditions. We’re on day 60+ of no rain! Stage 4 drought! The runny nose caught up to Samantha and she said her ear hurt…

so I took her to the doctor and, sure enough, yet another ear infection. This is the 3rd in a row and if she continues on this path, we might be looking at tubes.

Other updates? Maxwell threw up at school on Thursday of last week (!) but after a nap on the couch he was totally fine that afternoon. Who knows what it was?

Then yesterday he got a migraine while we were at Target and then threw up on the way home. Poor, poor guy.
In better non-sick news, last weekend we had a visit from Baby Margaret…

and then Robert and I spent the night out to finally celebrate my birthday! A big thanks to Susan for holding down the fort with this crew…

Hope you all have a great weekend!
