The kids have had a really fun Hallo-week up at school with different dress up themes every day, decorations all over the school, and plenty of fun projects and candy!!
Monday was Neon day…
Tuesday was Camo day…
Then it was Wacky Wednesday…
Sports for Thursday…
and today is costumes! We’re super excited for a fun Halloween over here!!
Like last year, we had some friends over to carve Jack O’Lanterns and had so much fun! Each kid was so creative with their design. Maxwell and Spencer really did theirs almost all on their own! I helped Samantha…a lot. But they all turned out great!

Our porch is looking very festive now! Also note that I had to replace pretty much all of the pumpkins since this post…they couldn’t stand the warm temps and rotted. Yuck! Hopefully these will last through Halloween!
We are Halloween ready!
Robert’s office is doing a pumpkin decorating contest this year and we decided to get out the paint and make some fancy pumpkins!
Maxwell made this minion all by himself – no help from me at all!

Spencer got started on this Baby Yoda but then lost interest so I finished it out.

Samantha did a lot of the painting on her unicorn – and all of the glitter!!

I think they turned out pretty great!

On to Spencer…
He started off strong in 2013 in the nursery….
Then we didn’t get one from Older Toddlers in 2014 because he wouldn’t sit for the photographer. Yep, his teacher said he just wouldn’t do it. Oh well.
2015 in the Twos (such a cheerful smile)…
2016 in the Threes showed major improvement! Love that little smile!
We also got a belly laughing Spencer…
2017 in the Fours – with a new scar on his cheek!

Our last day in Naples was also Spencer’s 8th birthday!! Not too bad to get to spend your birthday in one of your very favorite places! We had brownies the night before – birthday boy’s request!
That morning GJ did it all up to celebrate him!
He got to pick breakfast at Skillets and lunch at Firehouse Subs. Love that kid!
The only bad thing about Spencer’s birthday? We had to leave Naples that evening to get back to Birmingham.
As always, we can’t wait to go back! When’s the next trip?!
