The end of the season baseball tournament was in Atlanta…or Marietta…not nearly as fun as the beach trips Maxwell got to go on but I guess easier to get to. Robert went with Spencer and they had a fun Friday night at the Braves game!
They got killed in all three games but, that’s ok. Games are tough when you’re playing against kids twice your size!
Spencer had some good at bats, got to pitch and did awesome, and played CF.
I’m choosing to think this tournament – and frankly the whole season – was more about friendship than baseball. Spencer and his buddies had fun running around the hotel until late at night and making memories. I’ll take it!
Friendships are an important part of sports!
These are learning experiences and don’t place too much on it. Learning to play on a team and having to share results teaches that you need to build the best organization you can!
