Spencer played baseball with Spartan Baseball Club this spring. Though not without its challenges, I’d say overall it was a good experience. He was a starter on the B team and got to play center field the majority of the season. He also got to pitch some (not enough!) and killed it on the mound each time. As Robert said, “he really does have a pitcher’s mentality” – he doesn’t get frazzled and doesn’t show much emotion. Steely Spencer!
