Baptism

September 2, 2015

On Sunday (Maxwell’s birthday!) we had Samantha’s baptism. It was a slightly rainy, muggy, wonderful day!  🙂  We had lots of family in town for the special occasion and couldn’t have asked for better behaved kiddos. I took terrible pictures all day but had a photographer come take some family photos of all of us that I will share once I get them.

The house was all fixed up and ready for a party!

The boys looked the cutest ever in their outfits.

Samantha was the sweetest, prettiest baby girl wearing the same dress her cousin Delaney was baptized in.

Most of the pictures I got were from the time we were waiting for church to start. Not the best lighting in the bridal suite! ha!

Our little family!

Samantha did great during the service. She even gave Dr. Carl a little smile when he held her. There was another baby being baptized that day as well who was actually born only 1 day earlier than Samantha! At the end of the baptism, Dr. Carl held both babies and walked them up and down the aisle. He then commented that the baby in his right arm (my chubby Baby Mantha!) was a liiiiitle heavier than the baby in his left arm!  🙂  That’s my squeezable baby!

Spencer was a bit of a wiggle worm all day but actually did a fantastic job during the service standing in front of the church. He chewed on his hand a little but that was just fine. Maxwell stood there like a perfect gentleman, of course! We had a great lunch at the house afterward and were so grateful so many family members could come!

By the time church and pictures and all the activity was over, Samantha was worn out! She was such a happy baby the whole day…

She eventually got a little too tired though…

but, hey, it was her party so…you know.

A very special day for a very special baby girl!

Such a special day in every respect – precious little girl in that gorgeous dress that Delaney also wore, two well dressed little boys who behaved so grown up, so many friends and family joining in the celebrations of baptism and birthday – just so special!

A special baby for certain. So glad we had so many family members make it even more special.

It was a most wonderful day! Samantha was the beautiful, perfect baby and the boys couldn’t have done better and looked so handsome! Delicious food and lots of family combined to make the day a huge success! Stephanie and Robert really outdid themselves.
