I think outside is magic to little boys. And maybe to little girls too but I don’t know much about them. Whenever Maxwell is a little fussy or cranky (which is usually when he wakes up from his nap) I take him outside and his mood instantly changes. He’s so good at entertaining himself while we’re outside and is always happy…at least until we have to go back inside!! 🙂 Needless to say, we’re loving these spring days and sunshine!
This picture pretty much sums up Maxwell these days – outside with a truck, a ball and a graham cracker!
Doesn’t get much better!
In the next picture you can see here how his left leg is just a little scrawnier than his right after those 5 weeks in a cast.
I also happen to love the afternoon light in our backyard for photos. Indulge me…
I can tell you exactly what Maxwell is saying in this next picture – “Where’s Dada?” – just like he does every day around 5:00!
On another “outside” note, we decided this year to get our yard sprayed for mosquitos. We’ve only had one treatment so far (I think we get a few over the course of the summer) and it has already made a huge difference. I usually get eaten up while outside and I haven’t had one bite yet! I’d say that’s pretty great! The spray is all non-toxic and completely safe for kids. We used The Mosquito Authority and would highly recommend them to other B’ham folks!
So here’s to beautiful spring days, mosquito-less yards and lots of trucks to play with!
Let us know if you ever want to come over and play…we’ll be waiting for you at the gate!
Have a great day!

They all love the outside! Maxwell looks so cute with his necessities. We were thinking of looking into mosquito spraying. So glad it seems to be working for you.
