Just a few more pictures from our time in Naples!
Fun all around!
Two weeks ago, the kids and I hopped on a plane and headed to Naples for Spring Break! We were all pretty excited…
and I’m posting this picture too because they’re both so cute I can’t decide. đ
Luckily Robert was able to get a gate pass again and wait with us until we boarded.
The boys did great on the flight…
and then everyone got a little snooze in on the drive to Naples from Tampa.
Once in Naples, we were glad to see everyone!
We had a busy week full of coloring books, scissors and drawing tigers…
We dyed eggs…
We played at the beach…
But honestly spent more time swimming in the pool!
We bounced…
We made obstacle courses…
We went out to lunch…
We skipped naps…
We made brownies…
But mostly we just hung out.
After a full week of fun, we had an uneventful flight home.
While we were worn out from all the fun…
We can’t wait to do it all again! Thanks for everything GJ and Daddo!
Samantha had her 2 month checkup last week. The good mother that I am totally forgot about and missed her 6 week checkup. Oops! Oh well, she seems to be doing just fine! Her stats – 11 lbs, 8 oz and 23 inches long with a head circumference of 15.5 cm.
At Maxwell ‘s 2 month checkup he was very very close to Samantha at 11 lbs, 5 oz, 23.5 inches long with a big ole round head at 15.5 cm! I knew she was taking after her oldest brother!
Spencer’s 2 month checkup here. He was my little chubbo! 13 lbs, 8 oz! He was 23 inches tall with head circumference of 15.25 cm. He’s just his own person! đ
She does have a little herniated belly button. Apparently it’s pretty common in girls and should clear up on its own before she’s one. Not a big deal, just something to watch, but it does make her have quite the “outie” until it heals!
I had to take both boys with me but everyone did great. Samantha was happy for the whole checkup until she had to get 4 shots in her chubby little legs. Poor baby girl. But, she took it like a champ and then took a fantastic nap that afternoon.
Here’s some cute faces I got while waiting for Dr. Walley…
happy!
achoo!
whaddya mean shots?!
yep, I’m awesome!
We love good doctor reports!
One year ago I wrote this no-love letter…
Dear Pollen,
Youâre such a lovely shade of green and I do love the color green.  However, you coat all of our outside toys and plants and really just make a mess of things.  Youâve been hanging around for about two weeks and I think itâs safe to say youâve already worn out your welcome.  Spencer and his red, swollen, itchy eyes agreeâŚ
Needless to say, our feelings remain the same. That picture was from Wednesday when I picked him up from school. Ms. Alice had called me to say that as soon as they came in from the playground his eyes just turned bright red and he just kept itching them saying “my eyes!”. When I picked him up the first thing he said was, “Momma, eyes hurt!” đ
And this year it’s gotten to Maxwell too.
He’s not nearly as bad as Spencer but still…Poor, poor guys. Go away pollen!
Hope you all have a weekend free of itchy allergy eyes!
