I was practicing for my Light + Life class on metering and got these shots…
He’s a much more willing model than Maxwell. Mainly because he can’t move yet and doesn’t have a choice! 🙂
Love this little guy and his baby blues.
See you tomorrow!

We had a beautiful weekend here. It was supposed to rain all day Saturday and Sunday but the rain held off until late Saturday night. We were able to get out Saturday and enjoy the Habitat BBQ with Robert and soak in a little sunshine.
The highlight of the weekend came on Friday afternoon though. The boys and I went for a little walk and came upon this…
A whole row of yellow trucks! Heaven for Maxwell! I was kinda surprised that he actually wanted to get out of the stroller and stand on one but he did and I happily obliged…and took his picture of course! 🙂
We then walked down the road a bit and saw that the new local firehouse had the truck parked in the garage with the doors open! There was a fireman out there who told us to come on in and even gave Maxwell a new firehat.
He was one happy little boy that afternoon!
While Sunday was a very rainy day, I did capture this on my phone…
Sweet, sweet brothers enjoying a little book. Hope you all had a good weekend too!
Peek a Boo!
Or is it Pee Pie?! Whatever it is, it’s cute!
Have a great weekend!
At Spencer’s 6 month appointment, we got the go-ahead to start him on solids! There is no doubt my big boy is ready for some food! 🙂 I decided to just start with fruits and vegetables instead of rice cereal or oatmeal. Not sure why we always carbo-load our babies with processed food from the get-go instead of starting with fruits and vegetables? Anyway, I decided bananas was a good start so that’s what we did! He wasn’t real sure what to do with it in his mouth at first but he caught on quickly. The funniest part was Maxwell – who won’t eat a fruit to save his life – thought the jar of baby food bananas was pretty good too! I think he ate over half of his brother’s food! I might have to start buying double jars – one for Spencer and one for Maxwell! ha!
This is pretty much what it looked like when Spencer ate that first jar of bananas…
and here’s some videos if you’re really interested!
So far he’s had bananas, apples, pears and sweet potatoes. Adventures in eating!
Last Friday we had a little playdate over here. It was a beautiful, spring afternoon and it just seemed like a good day to blow up the bounce house and invite a few friends over! Maxwell had a blast – and only got upset about people playing with his trucks once! 🙂
The best part? His BFF from school, “Will-wam”, got to come! He was SO excited when William got here. Two blonde peas in a pod!
Fun day!
