Maxwell got invited to a birthday party this weekend with a “Princess and Pirate” theme. Of course, Maxwell didn’t want to go as any ole pirate. No, he wanted to go as Jake! (as in Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Jr. for all you non-toddler parents out there!) I starting googling ways to make a costume and quickly realized I should leave it up to the professionals – GJ and Susu! They sewed him an AWESOME costume in just a few days and now my little pirate is ready for the party on Saturday!
Of course, we couldn’t have Jake without also having his sidekick, Cubby!
ha! Are you dying at chubby Spencey in that outfit and doo-rag?! cause I am!
These two LOVED getting all dressed up…
(don’t you love Spencey’s mean pirate face!)
and even getting in their “pirate ship” Bucky! ha!
The costumes stayed on even when the clothes came off! 🙂
Climb aboard, Me Hearties, and be a pirate true! Yo Ho Let’s Go!
Happy weekend!
SuSu and I had so much fun making the costumes and so worth the time to see how much the boys are enjoying them! So glad we made a Cubby costume also – Jake definitely needs his sidekick! Precious!
Compliments to GJ and SuSu !!
Adorable! Delaney and Nate are extremely jealous. Nate wants to be Cubby and Delaney wants to know where Izzy is. 🙂
GJ and Susu need to make me a Captain Hook outfit. Someone has to be the foil in this story. Plus, I also like looking for treasure!
