Wednesday was our final – and I think best! – day skiing. We had another full day on the mountain from 9am to 4pm! We did tons of blues and went back through Bucky’s Front Yard several times. Robert and I finally managed to do it without falling!
Sometimes you just need to lay in the snow and take a break!
Bluebird day on the mountain!
Doesn’t get much better than this!
The kids’ favorite run was Ontario because it had all of the side moguls and things you could go up on. I attempted to follow Maxwell on one of them but obviously missed wherever he exited and found myself stuck up on a very high and steep narrow path. The only way down without breaking my leg was to take my skis off, throw them down, and slide down on my bottom. The kids got quite a kick out of that!!
We were all sad to have to turn in our skis at the end of the day.
But we did have fun with one last meal at Champions Club. Air hockey, skee ball, and Pacman for the win!
We loved skiing! We loved Deer Valley!
Can’t wait to go back!
What a great time! Makes me think of the fun ski trips we used to take!
I think everyone is hooked!
It makes me want to break out with a John Denver song ! Rocky Mountain High ! Except y’all were in Utah instead of Colorado !
Lots of great memories. Hope we can do it again next year!
