Swim Team
Samantha had another fun summer swimming for the MBC Magic swim team! Even with being gone at camp for three weeks she still got 4 meets in and made it to practice every morning she was in town! She’s a hard worker! She got lots of ribbons, lots of stars, and had lots of fun!

Montgomery
After our trip to MWW we were able to meet up with Robert and Samantha (Spencer was at the lake) and hang out in Montgomery that afternoon and celebrate some August birthdays. Of course, Maxwell was most excited to see the baby!
Samantha got some baby time in too!

The weekend before school started we took another trip down to Montgomery to visit Montgomery White Water! We scheduled a lesson for Maxwell and the instructor was great and got him right back into it!
She took him through the runs several times and he got better and better each time. He really learned to maneuver the drop well and got more confident each time!
Not every run went as expected – but it’s good to do this some so you know how to get back up, which he did every time!
He did the lesson from about 10 to 11:30 and then did a few runs on his own. We then stopped at ate lunch at Eddy’s out there – which was great! – and then he got back into the water for another hour or so. The place is so awesome with sidewalks all through it so I could walk around the runs and keep up with Maxwell and watch him. Really cool!
I LOVED watching this kid do something he loves. He was in his element.
A great day with a great kid.
