Maxwell might be a genius.  Not only does he know his animals, he also knows his body parts.  He can point out his eyes, nose, mouth, ears and belly button.  He also has a new word – bubble.  He and Susan were playing with bubbles last week and he’s been talking about them ever since!  Belly button, bubbles…next stop?  Harvard for sure.  🙂

He was in his stroller but REALLY wanted to walk like a big boy so, we did.  For quite a long way too!  His little legs got a workout.  He also gathered quite a collection of sticks as big as him!

The day after Maxwell’s haircut, I took him outside for a little photo shoot to try and get some shots of his new shorter do. Unfortunately, he was not exactly a willing model. No smiles, no looking at the camera…oh well, you can’t win em all!

They may not be the best pictures, but they do show off his clean cut in the back!

and I love that he’s still got his wings curls!

Of course Maxwell went and sat in his car like he always does when we go outside…

And then he wanted to climb into the rocking chair. With how dark the background is in these two photos, doesn’t it look like twins sitting on two chairs side by side? Oh man, the thought of 2 Maxwells at once is almost too much!!

He’s a stinker…but he’s my stinker and I sure do love him!

Even though it feels like Maxwell just had his first haircut, it was actually over a month ago.  And, well, hair grows…as is evidenced by his shaggy do!

Time for another haircut!  We decided to go to a different place this time and we’ll definitely be going back here.  She did a great job, it’s closer to our house, and it only cost $12 v. $25 at the other place!  Yay for Salon on Hagood!

Maxwell still wasn’t too keen on sitting in the chair by himself but thankfully Robert was there to hold him.

I, of course, was there in the background taking photos…story of my life!  and I wouldn’t have it any other way!  🙂

When we got home on Sunday I wasn’t sure if Maxwell was going to be happy to see me right away…or maybe be a little mad at me for leaving him!  I think he was pretty glad I was home but I don’t think he wants me leaving him again anytime soon…

Hmmm…maybe if I can just get this tag off then Momma won’t be able to use her suitcase and won’t leave me ever again…

Of course, then he got his little gift that we brought back for him and he changed his tune a bit!

What’s that Dad?  This little car is for me?  And you’ll bring me back a gift from wherever you go every time you leave me??

Here Momma, let me help you get this bag to the car so you guys can leave me again…and if you’re wondering, I like trucks, trains and books.

Now, if you’ll excuse me I’ve got some vroom-vrooming to do!
