ps – we finally cut off that mop of hair on Maxwell’s head yesterday! He looks like such a big boy now!
pps – Spencer slept the whole night through last night and didn’t wake up until 6:30!! Hooray!!

I had just given Spencer a bath and he was on the bed in just his diaper and…well…I couldn’t resist getting a few pictures of these rolls.
He loves to play with his toes these days…

ps – guess who rolled over for the first time yesterday! Go Spencer go! And guess who missed it?! I put Spencer down on his back and went to get Maxwell up from his nap. When I came back Spencer was on his belly! He rolled over two more times last night so I got to see him in action but I’ve yet to get it on video. Hopefully today!
This past weekend we got to go to a birthday party at the McWane Science Center! Â Sam Brown (no relation) was turning 6 and we went to help him celebrate. Â Robert and Sam’s dad, Keith, grew up together and Sam’s little brother, Luke, is Maxwell’s age. Â It was a great place for a party!

We first went to a room where the kids got to see and touch all kinds of animals.
I let Robert handle the animals with Maxwell while I hung back with Spencie Wencie…
All the kids loved getting to see a tortoise…
a hedgehog…spiky!

Luke had NO FEAR about any of the animals…especially the snake! Â He was so funny trying to grab at all of the animals!
And, finally, a super soft chinchilla. Â cool!
Afterward, Maxwell filled up on sugar…
and then we got to explore McWane for a bit…
Spencer wasn’t that impressed!  🙂
We then headed out to lunch where Maxwell tried to use his party favor – a train whistle…we’re still working on it!
It was a fun party!
