Hope I fooled a few of you yesterday. This year GJ was finally on to me…I guess she had to wise up at some point! 😉
We really did have a WONDERFUL Easter weekend at the lake. I took a ton of pictures over the course of 48 hours – 789 to be exact – so it’s going to take me just a bit to go through those and get them up here. I promise you’ll see them all though because there are some good ones on my camera! Unfortunately, Maxwell was up all night Sunday night with the croup and was feeling pretty pitiful all day yesterday. We’ve got some meds and are hoping for a quick recovery.
Until I can get through all the lake pictures, here a few more tot lot pictures – swinging two ways!

Happy Monday everyone! We had a really fun Easter weekend at the lake. It gave me a chance to really think on a lot of things I’m trying to balance in my life. Work, babies, family, friends…blogging. We’re all trying to find balance every day…even Maxwell at the tot lot. Gotta practice that balance!
He’s got great balance! Right now, I don’t have such great balance. There’s just too much to do and not enough time in the day so something has to give. I’m sad to say that the thing that has to give is the blog. I just can’t do it all and am going to be signing off for…well, I don’t know for how long. Hopefully not indefinitely. I’ve loved seeing you all here every day and hope to see you all again when I can get things a little more in control in my life. I’m leaving you with some sweet pictures of my little Spencer…he and his brother are the reason I’m signing off after all.

Last Sunday we went to the egg hunt at church and Maxwell had a ball. We’ve been having egg hunts around the house for about 2 weeks now so he was ready for the real thing! 🙂

Spencer and I met Robert and Maxwell up at church and all of Maxwell’s Sunday School friends were very interested in checking out the baby!
Luckily big brother Maxwell stepped in to save Spencer!
I don’t think Spencer minded sweet Anne checking him out though! 🙂
It was then time to head over to the hunt which they had moved inside because of the soggy, wet ground. While waiting, Maxwell got his basket stuck on his head…
I laughed and took another picture before finally helping him get it off! 🙂
Spencer enjoyed the hunt from the comfort of his stroller…
But Maxwell was on a mission…
His goal wasn’t to get as many eggs as possible though…
No, his goal was to get all the ORANGE eggs he could find! He only wanted those orange ones!
He knows what he likes! He ended up with a pretty full basket with mostly orange eggs plus a few red and yellow mixed in. Not a blue or green in sight! He was even more excited when I showed him the eggs had candy in them!
Even though he looks upset here, he’s actually just smiling through a mouthful of chocolate and trying not to lose any!!
