We moved! We’re worn out, excited, exhausted, and did I mention worn out? Most boxes are unpacked but there is still lots to do. Pictures to come soon! We’re definitely a work in progress.
Today, an update on my big boy smarty pants. Maxwell’s becoming an expert at all of his letters!
Still working on getting a few turned the right way but we’ll get there! See you tomorrow!
We’ve fought through the flu (Robert), a major cold (Spencer) and a fever virus (Maxwell) in the past week but we made it here – to moving day! Hooray!! Wish us luck!

Monday we made a trip to the dentist! While this was not Spencer’s first trip (thanks to him previously “busting open his whole mouf“), it was his first regular cleaning. He’s almost the exact same age as Maxwell was on his first dentist visit. Both boys did GREAT. The dentist even complimented them on being such sweet boys. Yay!
Maxwell had to get some x-rays…
and then showed Spencer just what to do in the chair…
and they both acted super sweet for the hygienist.
We got great reports from the dentist…
and were happy to get treats when done!

On Friday of last week, the 3 year old classes at Maxwell’s school put on their Christmas concert. It was adorable. They’ve been practicing the songs for weeks apparently and, well, you couldn’t tell at all. But, that didn’t matter because they all looked super cute standing up there! It was a big crowd too which had to be intimidating for such little guys. Robert sadly had to miss because of the flu but I got there really early and had a front row seat so I could record a bunch of it for him. Luckily, Maxwell ended up standing on the front row right in front of me! Yay!

Maxwell is on the front right next to Lila, of course. They were glued together the whole concert!
Maxwell was very concerned that I was not doing the right thing. Here he is telling me to stop taking pictures…
and I think here he’s telling me that I’m supposed to be clapping! Ha!
They sang quite a few songs but the whole thing only lasted maybe 15 minutes.
They sang Jingle Bells, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Christmas Tells of Jesus, Cristo, Cristo (Christ, Christ), Away in a Manager, Baby Jesus, The Angel Band, and We Wish You A Merry Christmas!
Overall it was precious and I couldn’t have been more proud of my little buddy!
And, I have to say, I think he was the cutest one up there too! 🙂
