Happenings from the last week or so…
Samantha found her thumb!
New basketballs for Robert the boys to play with outside!
Got these hung in our bathroom and it makes me very happy!
Susan is back and everyone is enjoying having her – and the fun she brings – around!
We celebrated Cinco de Mayo!
We learned this little one still really likes to be swaddled for her naps.
Maxwell and Spencer got to see and pet some cool animals at school. After seeing this picture that Mrs. Kathy sent, I can see why Spencer kept telling me he saw an “aldergatey!” 🙂
Our new dining room rug came in and Samantha modeled her new little J. Crew outfit on it.
Most importantly, it’s been beautiful weather all week – perfect for playing outside!

She’s even more perfect now that she’s slept from 8pm to 6am two of the past three nights! 🙂
Montgomery
On Saturday of last weekend, we headed down to Montgomery for the day to celebrate Anna’s first communion. Robert took the boys into the church…
while I stayed in the car with a snoozing Samantha!
The cousins loved getting to see each other and it was a beautiful, sunshiny day!
We all went to lunch at the club afterward and enjoyed getting to catch up…
and eat some cake!
The rest of the afternoon was spent visiting at Jenny and Ronnie’s awesome new house…
It was a special day celebrating a special little girl!

Mr. Maxwell
Maxwell is the best. The best. He’s such a little grown up in a kid’s body. I love to hear the things he says…One day he wanted to know something about a specific big cat and I didn’t have the answer so he told me just to go to bigcat.com and look it up! ha! He’s always telling me to “just order it off Amazon, Momma!” A few weeks ago he started telling me how to do a flower rubbing picture and I asked him where he learned that and he said from tv and then followed up with “Momma, even tv can teach you things!” So true, buddy, so true. His vocabulary is crazy. In the yard last week he asked me if something was still “viable” or not. That’s my smart boy!
Other Maxwell things lately…
Last week he got to go to a Barons baseball game with Robert…
Robert said he had a blast and was very entertained – and being very entertaining too!
I asked him that night what his favorite part of the game was and he said, “The race between the hot dog and the taco!” ha!
Maxwell also got some new shoes. His other orange and grey tennis shoes were tie and he said that Mrs. Kathy “hated” that she always had to re-tie his shoes at school so we got him some more velcro ones…

Finally, Maxwell got to take a trip to Toys R Us with Robert to spend his hard earned allowance money! After checking out all the aisles, he finally decided on this tiger rescue set-up….
He had $25 and it cost $29 so Robert told him he’d give him an advance on his allowance by 1 week so he could buy it! 🙂 He took his wallet to the store and paid with his own money and everything. Cutest. thing. ever. I’m so proud of him! My sweet boy even shared the toy with Spencer when he got home…
As my mom said, “He’s a special little boy.” Yes, he is indeed.
I sure do love him.
