My sweet baby girl is 6 months old! Half a year…we made it. She’s squeezable, lovable, and basically a dream come true every single day.

Maxwell at 6 months…

and Spencer at 6 months…

She’s still about the same size as Maxwell was at 6 months. I think she still looks more like Maxwell but she’s got some Spencey in her too! She’s a happy, happy baby and smiles with her entire mouth. I mean…she opens her entire mouth as wide as she can when she’s smiling. It’s precious!

She’s a great sleeper during the day. She naps at 9:00 and around 1:00 and sometimes still gets a 3rd nap in the afternoon. She loves to sleep on her belly and has several lovies and pacis all around her! All pink of course!  🙂  Night time sleep is…getting there. She’s still getting up once a night. Although, last night she did sleep all night – 7:00pm to 6:30am! But, I think that might have more to do with the 6 months shots she got and the Tylenol I gave her before bed! I know I likely just need to let her cry when she wakes up at night but it’s easier to just go in and feed her and get her quickly back to sleep. We’ll get there eventually. Right, Samantha?

She’s still nursing 5 times a day and then again in the middle of the night. We actually gave her a little bit of baby food for the first time yesterday. Bananas! She liked them but was more interested in the playing with the spoon than eating the food.

She’s now a master at sitting up. Pretty much any toy she can get her hands on goes straight in her mouth and she still loves playing with her feet for sure!

She’s got the most kissable, chubby cheeks and a sweet little mouth and I can’t keep from squeezing and kissing on her every time I pick her up!

I am so grateful for this baby girl and still cannot believe she’s mine. What a fun half a year it’s been!
