Dentist, playdates, and NYE
Lots of fun stuff happened over the past week or so and I’m just going to go in order to get through it all. First up? The ever so exciting and fun dentist visit! ha!
On the 21st, the boys had their teeth all checked out and did great…even if Spencer didn’t love getting his teeth cleaned!
Great reports from the dentist are always welcome!
On the 23rd, Maxwell got to have a little Christmas playdate and Max, James, and Lila came over to play and have lunch. They all had a great time…and especially loved it when Susan popped up some Jiffy Pop for them!
They were quite the crew all piled up together on the couch.
We even got to have our very favorite visitor over for the playdate!
It was a great kick-off to Christmas week! Lots of Christmas pictures to come but I hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Year’s Eve tonight! See you next year!!
11 months
Sweet Samantha is 1 month shy of a year! How can she already be 11 months old?!
Maxwell at 11 months…
Spencer at 11 months…
She’s a happy, happy baby. Just smiling and giggling lots. She’s a good talker – Mama, Dada, nigh nigh for night night. She’s got lots of tricks too – she can blow kisses, stick her tongue out, wave bye bye, patty cake. She loves to have her belly tickled and she loves it when I get right in her face and kiss on her nose! 🙂 Spencer and Maxwell can always make her laugh!
She loves her little sheep blanket in her bed and chews on the ear every day. She takes a paci at nap and night and always goes to sleep without a fuss. She wakes up between 6:30 and 7:00 and then takes 2 naps around 9:00 and 1:00. She goes to bed around 7pm.
She’s a crawling machine and can make her way to where she’s going FAST! She’s pulling up on all the furniture and is starting to cruise around things.
She’s still nursing 3 times a day and is eating all kinds of food. She’s really been a good eater (yay!) and has liked just about everything I’ve given her. I’d say “na-nas” are her favorite though!
I’m just having the MOST fun with a little girl. Several people have said she looks like Spencey. She definitely does – but I can see some Maxwell in her too.
I just love my baby girl and am so thankful she’s mine!!!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did! We’re enjoying the time off a little longer but will recap it all soon. Today, just a few of the outtakes from the hundreds (literally) of photos I took trying to get one for our Christmas card. We ended up using this one on the front…
and this one on the back…
I love them both. The one on the front was a total fluke moment that I happened to catch and it made me so happy. 🙂 Here are a few others that either made me happy but weren’t quite right for the card and a few that just made me laugh! Also, I didn’t edit all of these so some will be a little dark – and you’ll also be able to see the big cut on Maxwell’s head that I had to photoshop out of the pictures!
Those were all taken up at the church. We attempted some at home too….
