Some more pictures from last Sunday. Samantha clearly doesn’t like getting kisses…

or bunny ears! 🙂

I’m so glad they’re mine!

Friday dress up…

Saturday morning smoothies…

Saturday afternoon trip to Sam’s…

Who needs the hot park when you can run around an air-conditioned Sam’s?! Baby had the BEST time and was the hit of the store! ha!

Luckily I had Maxwell chasing after her everywhere! 🙂

They had the best time and were worn out when we got home!

Sunday was church…

Robert and I were in charge of Sunday school and worship care so Baby just got to stay with us this time instead of going to the nursery. Everyone was happy about that, especially me! 🙂 She played so well with the big kids!

A fun weekend down and ready for a good week ahead! Our last full week of summer before Maxwell starts kindergarten!!
Because Samantha is always with her awesome brothers and basically all we have are “boy” toys, she gets plenty of chances to dress up and play with superhero stuff, ninja weapons, trucks, and big cats! This is how I see her a lot…

No princess dresses for this tomboy, just Ninja Turtles!
That said, she always wants to wear her shoes, will bring me her bow to put back in her hair, and loves to love on her baby doll. So, I thought she needed a new “girl” toy and got her this little purse…

Complete with a pink cell phone, keys, and a wallet with a debit card! ha!

and what else?

Lipstick!

Still learning where lipstick goes! 🙂 She really has been loving the purse and carrying it around…

but, of course, there’s still plenty of fireman boots…

and full fireman gear around here daily!

She’s gotta keep up with her brothers after all!

I love my little girly tom boy!
Happy Friday!
Earlier this week I took Samantha in for her 18 month checkup and Dr. Walley agreed she’s basically perfect! 🙂 She was a little unsure walking into the room…

and really unsure after I had to hand her over to Nurse Shelly to get weighed!

Samantha is a big girl! She’s 32 & 3/4 inches tall (90th %) and 28 lbs, 10 oz (95th %)!! Dr. Walley thought she just looked great. He said it’s good that her height and weight continue to increase at the same rate. He said if she still continues growing at this rate by the time she’s two, she’ll probably end up being quite tall!
The boys stats at this age…
Maxwell at 18 months – 33 inches tall (90th %) and 24 lbs, 13 oz. (50th %)
Spencer at 18 months – 34 inches (98th%!!) and 27 lbs, 6 oz (95th%)
She and Spencer are pretty on par with each other…Samantha is just about an inch shorter and a pound heavier! 🙂 My lovable, squeezable baby!
While waiting for Dr. Walley, she had fun finding her belly button…

Reading her book…

Playing with her baby…

Eating her baby…

and chewing some tongue depressors!

She was really sweet to Dr. Walley and didn’t fuss at all. She was showing off all of her words and tricks too – she was naming things in the book like shoe, ball, flower, bottle, juice, and bath. Smart girl! She also waved bye bye to him and blew him a kiss! She did have to get two shots which she didn’t like but she recovered quickly.

Always thankful for good doctor reports and healthy, happy babies!!
This past Sunday we actually all 5 made it to church for the first time in forever!
My crew looking sharp. Spencer was pouting because he didn’t have pockets.

Then the bunny ears started…

And then I got a somewhat smiling at least all looking in the same direction picture!

This was the first time I’ve taken Samantha to the nursery at church since Maxwell’s graduation.

She was all excited running into church…

But quickly started crying as soon as I left her in the nursery. 🙁 She was happy when I picked her up though and the ladies said it didn’t take her too long to stop crying. Phew! She better get ready because she starts school 2 days a week in just about a month!
