Happy Friday and happy Cindo de Mayo!
Thanks to a little fever on Monday and Tuesday, Spencer played hooky from school yesterday. That meant he got to be my tag-along to get my eyes checked! I got new prescription sunglasses…

and Spencer tried on all of these cool specs!
Studious…

Maverick…

and Fancy!!

We had fun together, even if it was just going to get an eye exam. Wish I had more days to hang one on one with each of them.

ps – it’s Star Wars day! May the 4th be with you! 🙂
Baby Face! You’ve got the cutest little baby face, baby face!
There’s not another who can take your place.

I love this baby face.
Samantha had her first haircut last week! I’ve been debating what to do with her hair. It’s fine and thin and has grown into quite the natural mullet / Carol Brady do! Not the best look! ha! When she woke up from her nap last week with this bed head, I knew it was time…

I didn’t want to cut the front or the sides but the back really needed a trim. So, I took her up to see Misty where the boys go. She’s used to going there with them and I thought that would make it easier. Before the haircut…

She started to get a little hesitant but then got up in the chair and did GREAT!!

She looks so little and so big at the same time!

Misty did a good job – put a few little layers in the back to make it look better and really didn’t touch the sides or the front. It’s not super noticeable that she even got it cut but it did make a difference.

She did so good I might have even let her get this giant rice krispie treat after! 🙂

My sweet baby girl!
Our 3 favorite days! What else could they be but Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!
Friday… Maxwell earned his yoda ears for reading at school!

and we got to play with some of our oldest and bestest friends!

Saturday…morning baseball where Maxwell had a great hit straight at (or into!) the pitcher! After that it was lots and lots (and lots!) of yard work. But, we had 2 “good” helpers and 1 GREAT helper…

They even earned a treat for all their hard work…

Sunday we went out to lunch in our finest jewelry from Home Depot…

and then the kids got to take a Toys R Us trip to spend their own money…

Tough decisions but good choices were made. We were supposed to have a school carnival and a soccer game on Sunday afternoon but major storms cancelled those. I can’t say I was too sad. 😉
Make it a week of favorite days all around!
