The Lake
Over President’s Day weekend, my friend nicely invited me and the kids to go to her lake house. Another friend and her kids joined and we had quite the crew – 3 moms and 8 kids! None of us were quite sure how it was going to go but, thanks to some beautiful weather and kids that got along GREAT, it turned out to be the BEST weekend! The lake is still low so they have this great beach area which was perfect for digging, building dams, and getting really dirty!
Spencer sat in the water by himself for probably 2 hours just stacking rocks and having the best time…
Everyone was so happy to be outside!
Samantha and Leslie Hales were like peas in a pod all weekend…
Because everyone played so hard outside, they all miraculously slept incredibly well! woohoo!
Overall it was a better weekend than any of us expected with this cute crew!

Doughnuts with Dad
On Thursday of last week, Spencer and Samantha had Doughnuts with Dad up at school! They were all pretty excited…
but didn’t get too long to hang out because we thought it started at 9:00 but it was actually from 8:30 to 9:00. Oh well! They still had enough time for a doughnut and a quick visit!

Robert does like football and pizza but, while he does a LOT of things in the yard, pulling weeds is my job! Who knows what goes through Spencer’s mind some days.

This has been up for a few weeks but worth sharing…Maxwell’s new wall art!
It looks so cool and goes great with his original Star Wars artwork. He likes it much better than the “babyish” trucks that were up there. Now I just need to find something cool for Spencer’s wall. When one brother gets something new the other wants it too…
