In the two weeks leading up to the last day of school, Spencer’s class had special dress up days!
PJ day…
“Wear your favorite letter” day…yea, that one didn’t make much sense to me either! We decided an Alabama A was our favorite!
Pirate Day! Arrrrrrgh!
Hawaiian Day! Aloha!
Hat Day! (not to be confused with the aforementioned letter day despite our outfit!)

Samantha had her last day of school last week! She rocked 2K! Mrs. Betsy had nothing but wonderful things to say about her at the year end conference – she’s happy, giggly, and a good friend. She follows directions well and is quick to point out when others are not following directions! ha! Her BFFs at school this year were Evie Cate and John.

She’s grown so much from the first day to the last!
We’re going to miss this sweet class – especially Mrs. Betsy! All 3 kids have had her and she’s the best!

A great school year in the books!
Last year I was sad that I wouldn’t be walking these two into school together anymore, this year I’m sad because these two won’t even be at school together anymore! The Bobbsey Twins are gonna miss each other!
These two have had so much fun together this year and I know Samantha is really going to miss Spencer when he’s in school EVERY DAY next year!
Why can’t they just stay little forever?!
After a fantastic Saturday, it was Mother’s Day on Sunday! Maxwell brought me breakfast in bed and then they pulled off a hilarious surprise with the help of Mrs. Susan…

We then went over to surprise Mrs. Susan in our pjs! She’s as much mother to these kids as anyone so it was only right to show her some extra love that day! 🙂
After that it was down to Montgomery for lunch with the family.
The boys were looking sharp and Samantha was the cutest thing around with her pigtails!! I sure am one lucky momma!

Last weekend sure was nice with beautiful weather. Robert finally got home from traveling all week and everyone was very glad to have him home…
We had a nice dinner at The Club and enjoyed the view!
Spencer had decided he wanted to learn to ride a bike and so Maxwell reluctantly agreed to learn too. On Saturday we got the bike out and raised the seat and then Maxwell sat on it and just started riding around the driveway! Just like that! He was a pro on his very first try. I guess that’s what happens when you wait until 7.5 to learn to ride!
We then went down to the parking lot to get some practice in for Spencer…
He and Robert gave it a good run…
but Spence wasn’t quite ready to take off on his own yet. I think another couple weeks on the balance bike and he’ll be cruising! While Spencer practiced, these two monkeys had fun on the playground.
After all that hard work and play, I decided we needed some ice cream!
Doesn’t get better than that on a pretty weekend!
