Pinewood Derby
Maxwell went into the Pinewood Derby this year as the reigning champ and, while he didn’t bring home the gold this year, he still had a great time! He worked so hard on his emoji car and really did it all by himself!
He named it “In Your Face”! love it!

Maxwell’s car came in either 2nd or 3rd in all his races. He did take his AL car from last year with him and raced it against his car from this year and his AL car smoked “In Your Face”! You win some… I don’t think it bothered Maxwell too much. He got to hang with his buddies and eat about 8 cookies! Best night ever!

So, Maxwell has had the flu. He started running fever Saturday, got a positive flu test on Sunday and started Tamiflu, and was really feeling almost back to 100% by Monday night! I went on and kept him home Tuesday and Wednesday though because he does still have a cough. Plus, I kind of like having him around…Samantha does too! 🙂
