Y’all, we made it to Friday…barely. But, we made it! Who needs some cute Samantha pics to kick off the weekend? Me too! Also, she “poses” every time I take her picture now….

Love her and ready for the weekend!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...

Love her and ready for the weekend!
We were in Florida all last week and when my hair is wet from the pool I usually wrap it up in a bun. Samantha saw my bun and said she wanted a “bund” too! She wore one all week and looked like the cutest thing ever. She kept calling it a “bund” and I definitely didn’t correct her because, again, cutest thing ever! She wore a “bund” on our trip home…

and, despite her pouty, tired, cranky face, her hair sure looked pretty all wavy and curly when we took her “bund” out that night!

Cutest thing ever.
Some updates on Maxwell…
He’s got allergies! Maybe he and Spencer aren’t so different after all! ha! After a really rough spring with itchy eyes and a terrible cough we finally took him up for testing and he’s basically allergic to all trees. Good stuff. He’ll start allergy shots soon!

He also has some new mouth hardware! He got an expander a few weeks ago. He’ll have this in for a few months and then get a round of braces to get everything aligned. I get to turn the key every day. More good stuff!

In more fun news, he’s taking his first golf lessons! He’s doing a morning golf camp this week and he sure does look the part!

Good stuff all around!! Have a great day!
While I was off galavanting around France, Robert, Susan, and GJ kept everyone happy and entertained back at home!

They all went to VBS…

Please note her hair – she wouldn’t let my mom or Susan do anything with it the whole time I was gone. Toot.

read my letters each day…

and basically did what they do best. 🙂

They were so worn out from all the fun I don’t think they missed me one bit!

But I sure missed them! Glad to be back home where I belong!
For our final adventure on Sunday we went to St. Tropez. We took the ferry over and it was a lovely ride with views of the sailing regatta that was going on.

Don’t they look like a bunch of shark fins?

I’m glad we went to St. Tropez but, if I went back, I’d spend the day at a beach club lounging on a chair. The city was just more of the same of what we had seen all week so not that neat by that point in the week. We did have a good lunch at La Guerite!

And we did enjoy seeing the sights but I think we were all just ready to go home by this point.

The ferry ride back to Cannes was decidedly less pleasant than the ferry ride to St. Tropez. They said it was “rough seas” and they weren’t kidding! At least now I know I can be on a really rough ferry ride and not get seasick – many, many people that were around us cannot say the same! We were very glad to be back on solid land an hour and half later! We enjoyed one last night in Cannes…

and one last gelato! Perfection!

The next morning we all got up early to make the long trek home. 18 hours later I finally made it to this…

Talk about perfection! It was the most fun adventure and I am so glad I got to see and experience so many wonderful things but, as I’ve said before, the best part of going away is coming home.
Au revoir France! Merci beaucoup for all the memories!
