Samantha’s dance recital was supposed to be last weekend. She had gotten her costume a few months ago…
and had the official pics taken back in early March (will share them when I get them)…
So we decided to just have our own recital at home! She put on her costume, dabbed on some lipgloss, and put on a show!
This girl deserves a stage! She was definitely the star of the show!! I love my little dancer!!
After barely hanging on for a few weeks Spencer’s front tooth is finally out!! We’d been trying to convince him to pull it for several days and then he finally decided it was time!
So long snaggletooth, hello gappy grin!
Now if we could just get that other loose front tooth out too!

Keeping busy and getting crafty!
Last weekend when the boys went to play golf, Samantha and I went to pick strawberries…with matching hair-dos no less!
We drove out to Jerry Marsh farms and each got a basket to fill up!
I’m glad we got there early – there were still plenty of ripe berries for us to pick and it wasn’t too crowded yet. Samantha was good at finding the best ones!!
It was a little muddy but we managed…

Meanwhile, the boys had a great morning and Spencer even got a birdie! woohoo!

and an excellent pound cake for shortcake that night!
