Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
She definitely makes life fun!!

Hahaha! Love her!!

Just some pics from the first 5 weeks of school! We’re so grateful to be there – masks and all!

Here’s to another great week at school!
Not leaving Spencer out in the sports season – he’s playing flag football and fall baseball! Flag is pretty laid back but lots of fun…

even when you have to play in the rain!

He has a good baseball team this year with some buddies so we’re looking forward to games starting soon on the new turf fields! fancy!

Note – that is not a picture of the fancy new turf fields! ha!
The boys are also doing golf and tennis weekly…

and Samantha also does dance and tumble. What happened to enjoying the downtime of quarantine and promising to never be overscheduled again?! Oh well, these kids love to play so that’s what we’re doing!!
Happy Friday!
Our soccer star Samantha is at it again! Scoring goals right and left at her soccer games!! She’s on a team this year made up of all friends and is loving playing soccer.

The team’s official name is the Blueberry Cupcake Sparkly Princess Unicorns! ha! Seems fitting when you see all the pink and purple on the field!

First game!

This girl hustles! She’s running all over that field, going after the ball every time to get it turned around and into that goal! So proud of her!

Second game!

Samantha scored 6 of the team’s 7 goals! She also did plenty of cartwheels on the field! ha!

Love my soccer star!!
Are you ready for some football?! We are! We’ve been watching some top notch football around here the past few weeks. Maxwell is playing tackle football this year and it’s been so fun – for him to play and for us to watch! 4th grade tackle football is interesting because there is quite a disparity in size of the kids! Case in point…

That’s Maxwell in the black jersey in the middle! ha! Now, that photo is slightly distorted because of distance but, they do have one really really tall kid on their team!

The Raiders are now 3-o so they’ve had a great time winning. Maxwell has been playing lots and lots of defense and not as much offense as he’d like. But, he hustles at practice and does what he needs to do at games and he’ll earn his spot. He had some really strong tackles in last Sunday’s game! He might be small but he’s tough!

I have, not surprisingly, got into it and love watching the games. I just love to watch anything my kids play! If they love, I love it!

For the record, the team had those buttons made and they are a fundraiser for the high school cheerleaders. How could I not get one?!
I’m so proud of number 29 and love to watch him play!

Go Raiders!
