The week before Christmas we went to see the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit in Birmingham and I thought it was really cool! The kids didn’t think it was quite as neat as I did, but I still think they enjoyed it and got something out of it. We went with some friends which makes everything more fun!

The kids are back to school today so how about a round up of before school photos from before the break!
Gah, they’re all three so cute. Hope the second half of school is even better than the first!
In November, Spencer made his thankful turkey on me! So sweet. I asked him when we traveled to New York and he just smiled. “I was running out of time so just put that down”. Goodness gracious, he’s a mess! But I do like my tennis rackets and Golden Goose shoes! My gold jewelry also looks a bit like Mr. T but I’ll take it!
Spencer also made this great self portrait and poem. He’s never been to New Orleans and pretty sure eating cinnamon bread and Nutella every day doesn’t make you a foodie…but we’ll just chalk it up to poetic license! ha! But, hey…his shirt and shoes are spot on!
Maxwell did a big research project at school and chose to do it on Ferraris! Alright! I know Daddo approves! I think he did a fantastic job on his poster and did it all himself. Go Maxwell!

Happy New Year! Alright 2022, let’s make this one a bit better than the past two!
Spencer’s OTM team played in the Jingle Bell Jam tournament the weekend before Christmas. Unfortunately Spencer had the flu so couldn’t play in the game on Thursday night. He was fever free and on the tail end though so got to go cheer the team on. They lost…they clearly needed him!!
They then played 3 games on Saturday and I was so impressed with them! It was a long day and they hustled the whole time!
They got knocked out in the 3rd game but it was a fantastic game. They lost to the #1 seed by only 1 point! Go Magic!!
Spencer’s really improving as a basketball player and enjoys this team. They have a new coach, Coach Tee, who has been great with the boys and really pushing them. Will be a fun season! Go MB Magic!!
Happy New Year’s Eve!! I think we’re all ready to say goodbye to 2021 and have high hopes for 2022!
