Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
After such a fun season, we had to have a MAGICAL end of the season party to wrap it all up! On a beautiful Saturday two weeks ago we all got to hang out at Carter’s house and celebrate their undefeated season. Swimming in early March? The boys were happy campers for sure!

The season wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun without these fun moms! So glad I get to be a part of the Magic crew too!

Wyatt, Larkin, Hunter, Hamp, Carter, Graham, Coach Tee, Joe, Wyatt, and Spencer!

Goooo Magic!
In addition to the regular OTM games, Coach Tee also took the boys out to Tarant most Friday nights to get some more practice in. They played some really good and tough teams out there. It was so good for our boys and taught them a lot.

Unbeknownst to us, it was actually a league and they ended up getting to play for the championship! They didn’t win that game but took home a giant trophy for second place! Not bad, Magic!!

Spencer has loved playing on this team and I’m so glad he’s getting the opportunity to do what he loves!
Spencer played on the MB Magic OTM basketball team again this year and, wow, what a season!! They got a new coach this year and he taught these boys how to play! Coach Tee really transformed this team. He worked them hard and was hard on them – but it totally paid off.

All 3 MB OTM teams – lots of fun basketball!

Last season the Magic only won 3 games and ended the season in 6th place out of 10 teams. This year they were UNDEFEATED!! They didn’t lose a single game during the season. We didn’t have to play MB Black in regular season but we did play MB Green and beat them! Go Magic!

They made it to the semi-final round of the tournament and had to play MB Black. Last year this team beat us by about 30 points. This year we gave them a very strong run for their money and should have won. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. Coach Tee also got two technicals which didn’t help. It was a great game though. Spencer played the hardest and best I’ve ever seen him play. This kid is a machine on defense! I was so so proud of him.

These boys are proof that a lot of hard work, hustle, and heart can make MAGIC!
I took Samantha up for her 7 year old checkup this week and got a great report all around! Like with the boys, it was our first without Dr. Walley and we really miss Dr. Walley. But, Samantha saw Dr. Crum and she was fantastic.

Samantha is 47.25 inches tall (25th-50th %) and 50.2 lbs (50th %). Since her 6 year checkup, she has grown 1.75 inches and gained 2 lbs. Leaning out!
For comparison, Spencer at 7 was 49 inches tall and 53 lbs. Maxwell at 7 was 47.25 inches and 47 lbs. Interesting!
She had to get her finger pricked which brought some big crocodile tears but she was really brave and earned her treat at Starbucks after the appointment!

I sure do l love my growing girl and am so incredibly thankful for good doctor reports!
