Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...
Happy belated Independence Day from my all American crew!

Tomorrow Maxwell will be FOUR. 4. Four. He’s so big and so sweet and so smart and so curious and so everything…he’s a VERY special little boy. And now he’s a VERY special FOUR YEAR OLD!
Just born…
One year old…
Two years old…
Three years old…
and FOUR years old…
A few of my favorite posts about Maxwell from this year…
practicing soccer, final summer fling, soccer adventures including the pretty disastrous first game, Halloween adventures, raking the fall leaves, funny and cute updates on my buddy, some brotherly chats, decorating – and eating! – the candy house, visit to see Santa, and our visit from Santa Christmas morning, our first Disney adventure of the year here, here and her, first night in his big boy bed, playing at the beloved tot lot, imagination, snow adventures here and here, his favorite things, dressed up as Jake, our second Disney adventure, all dressed up for Palm Sunday, a little recap of 3., silly brothers, my funny Supermen, first trip to the ballpark, a fantastic school year, swim lessons, cranky 4th of July pics, first time riding a bike, his reaction to and stories about the new baby, and, of course, the first day of school.
Like on his first, second and third birthdays, I would love for you to leave a comment and wish Maxwell a happy birthday. If you enjoy reading about our adventures, just leave a little “happy 4th!” or maybe a “cheers to 4!” or whatever you like. 🙂
Happy birthday sweet boy. You have no idea how much you are loved.
Now, let’s go eat some Mexaurant, have some cake and celebrate being FOUR!!!!
Happy Birthday, Maxwell!!!
Finishing up the Naples pics with the 4th of July! We started the day with a trip to the beach!
Spencer was dressed especially patriotically! (is that a word?)
We then went back to the house and enjoyed our last full day by taking it easy on GJ who had a broken rib.
They’re so gentle with the injured.
GJ and Maxwell then baked a cake for America. They knew he was coming! 🙂
Cheers!
Then the cousins showed up and we had – what else? – another tea party!
This time with cake!
We played trucks and princesses…
and decorated the house for the holiday!
We played outside in the hot, HOT weather…
and cooled off with a popsicle!
After plenty of outside play, the kids were pooped…
So we chilled out with some lunch and some Frozen (for about the 253rd time that week!)
It was a great 4th all around. I have to say though, Robert and I were the most patriotic of all…
a living flag for goodness sake! 🙂
Hope you all had a great week. Happy Friday!
First – Flashback to July 4th 2011…
Please click over the look at all the pictures. Just too much.
On to this year! What’s more all-American than a little boy sitting in a white rocking chair in his fire truck shirt and AL hat…
Not much I think.
Get this kid some apple pie!
Hope you all have a great 4th!!
