I’ve been a busy Troop Committee Chair up at Troop 63 these past few months…but it’s all paying off! I worked really hard to recruit some great new scouts into the Troop for Spencer’s grade. I hosted a “mom’s night” at the house back in the fall…
and then we had a “Fire, Fun and Football” event at the scout hut in January…
and it was all worth it when we had 18 new scouts for the meeting in March! WOW!
Proud of these boys and excited to see them be Scouts together!

We had a great Grandfriends event up at school recently! It was a yucky day but luckily the rain held off for a bit that morning. Samantha and Spencer had the best Grandfriends that got to visit their classrooms and explore the school with them!
Lulu even got a little excitement in 3rd grade!
We then had a nice lunch after.
It was a GRAND day for all involved!

She got her expander out and braces off!! No more braces – for a few years at least – for this girl! She only had to wear them from September to March – not bad!
What a pretty, pretty smile….and looks way too grown up now!

I got a new car!! I had problems with my Atlas from just about day one so I’m thrilled to be cruising around in the new Lexus TX!
I think even Robert can admit it was a good decision! ha! Have a great weekend!
Two weeks ago Spencer and his Cub Scout troop had their crossover ceremony officially earning their Arrow of Light and becoming Boy Scouts! There was a good group of them that stuck it out and made it through Cub Scouts together. This group wasn’t quite as committed and connected as Maxwell’s group so it wasn’t quite as bittersweet. But, it’s still a great accomplishment and I’m so proud of Spencer and all of these boys!
I’m really just proud of this kid in general – he’s a smart, good kid and I’m so thankful he’s mine.
Glad to have most of these boys moving onto Boy Scouts together at Troop 63!
