On Maxwell’s birthday, we drove down to Orange Beach for the long weekend with Robert’s family. It was a long drive down but we finally got there about 10pm. We were not happy to wake up on Saturday and see this!

Thankfully it cleared up a little that afternoon and we got some beach time in! Hooray!

Unfortunately the beach time also came with some jellyfish stings – which was a recurring theme all weekend!

Thankfully she survived and we had fun.

That night it was pizza, AL football and the baby in the condo – Maxwell was in heaven!

Celebrating maxwell

On Friday we had plenty of celebrations for our favorite 14 year old. On his birthday eve we went to – where else? – Tecate!

His birthday then started with cinnamon rolls, of course – same way his birthday has started since 5 years old!

After school (and after Robert got home from his new job where he’d been locked in the hallway for an hour! ha!) we opened presents and had baby bites!
