Lunch bunch
Yesterday morning Samantha gave me some big ole puppy dog eyes and asked me to come up to school to have lunch to her. I’m a sucker so I went. How can I say no to her?
It’s always entertaining to chat with other 4th grade girls! Hot topics: what to do for their birthdays, Aviator Nation, and fall break plans. 🙂
Spencer has lunch right after so I got to see him too. I don’t think he really appreciated my presence! ha!

More tennis
Speaking of tennis…I’ve been playing just a little. 😉 Lots of cardio wins to catch up on since May!
By the end of the summer my knee was really mad at me and my arthritis got all flared up. A little PT and some time and it’s slowly getting back to baseline.
A knee brace helps it feel better too!
In addition to lots of cardio, I played in a USTA combo league this summer and it was really fun. Soft court has started back for the fall and I moved up to the 4.5 team for that and I’m playing on my regular 3.5 USTA team on Fridays. Never too much tennis (my knee might disagree but…).

Tennis match
Samantha played in her first tennis match last Sunday!
She played singles and won! They play first to 4 and Samantha easily won 4-0. She’s got a good serve and, in this league, if you can get your serve in, you’re gonna win. 🙂
Of course she looked the part too! You look good, you play good!

Weekend
Some of us went to hibachi this weekend…
and some of us went to Vegas!! Well, GJ went to Vegas…
She just hopped on a plane and headed to Vegas by herself to see the Eagles at the Sphere! She said it was so, so cool and I’m so glad she went! Viva Las Vegas!
