Week 2 and lots of fun pics to share! We did get a scanned letter from Samantha on that Monday and it made me a little sad. She talked about how she was homesick so she went to talk to Laura, the camp director. I was wondering if she was really THAT homesick so called the camp and talked to her group leader, Hagen. Hagen was so sweet and said she’s no more homesick than any other 9 year old and definitely not the most homesick in her cabin. She said there was one little girl that was pretty homesick so she went to talk to the director Laura (or La La as they call her) and came back to the cabin saying how fun she was to talk to so then a few of the other girls thought they needed to go talk to Lala too! I felt so much better after talking to her. I also felt better after seeing more and more smiling pics each day!
What a cute bunch with Jimmy, the camp head of the camp!
Another day, another smile!
Happy camper!
This is when I really stopped worrying!! That’s our Samantha!
And the this picture from Carnival night – can’t deny the fun in this pic!!
Cutie!
Sewing!
Pizza night! I thought the hats were too funny!
Lots of crafts!
Trivia night!
Green and Gold day!
Doesn’t get much cuter than this!!
She did love waterpark!
Sunday at the pool – can’t beat it!
Phew, that’s a lot of fun! Two weeks down, one to go!
Looks like she is really having a great time! I’m so pleased she is enjoying camp. What a wonderful experience!
A little reminder of home is good. A camp helps to prepare one to think about likes and dislikes and prepare them to try new things. I think she is doing great!
Love to see that smile!
I want to go to her camp!
