Things are a little humdrum around here this week. Not much going on. I’m enjoying it though – February is proving to be every bit as busy as I expected it to be. We’ve got something planned for just about every weekend. So, it’s nice to enjoy these mid-week humdrum days without much to do except play…

Out of all those toys (and a silver mint julep cup!) he chooses the empty wrapping paper roll to play with. Love it.
He’s just a normal little boy! I’m ready for a humdrum day myself!

I think the wrapping paper roll has overtaken the spatulas for favorite “non-toy” toy. Just hope this lasts as I have proven they have a very low life expectancy, particularly when you use them to sword fight with your older brother.
Oh, think of the money we could save on toys when pots, pans, spoons and paper rolls can be used!!!
