Sometimes you just have to say “yes” and we did just that last weekend! We were talking about how much fun we had at Taylor Swift in Atlanta and how much fun it would be to go again and we decided just to go again! We cooked up this plan on Thursday night, got a ticket hookup through Lyndsay, booked some flights, got a hotel room and a driver to take us to the show and we were on our way Saturday morning! Now, that makes it all sound very easy and it wasn’t quite that easy but…it was all worth it!
I think we had the most fun on Thursday night and Friday just getting ready for the adventure! Making bracelets, running around town for an outfit..getting excited!
Off we went very early Saturday morning!
We stayed downtown Kansas City and I can’t say there is much to do down there but we did take a trip to Flavortown and had lunch at Guy Fieri’s taco joint.
The library was cool!
I’d say we ended up with some perfect outfits thanks to Target (no surprise there!). We were ready!
I was very thankful we were able to find a driver to take us to and from Arrowhead Stadium. The traffic getting into the stadium was terrible and it took us an hour and a half to get from out hotel to the stadium – normally a 12 minute drive!
After our 5am ET wake up call, this little car nap in the traffic was needed!
But we finally made it and we were so excited to be there!
Our seats were awesome and a totally different view than what we had in Atlanta which was great.
Lots of bracelet trading…we had some good ones to give out! Most so good that Samantha didn’t want to give them out! π
Some in our party appreciated certain sights more than others – Patrick Mahomes and the Lombardi Trophy! Go Chiefs!
We screamed and danced and sang until (almost) the last song! We ducked out a little early just as she was starting Karma so we could beat the crowd out and get to our car. That was the right decision with my tired crew. It was another epic show and I loved getting to see it again with my favorite people!!! I’m a Swiftie for life now!
It has most definitely not been a cruel summer!
