We’re all being super sporty over here. The boys are all in on baseball…

Samantha had her first soccer game and scored about 10 goals…

and Robert and I are playing tennis!

Well, we played tennis together one night in a couples mixer and it was a blast. I can’t say that Robert is fully taking up the sport, but I am! I started playing in the soft court league this year and have quickly become fully obsessed! Tennis 6 days a week! I’m finally starting to win some matches too. Hooray!

Good exercise and fun all around for us all!

What a great weekend we had! The weather was perfect and we had lots of fun activities and winning ballgames! The fun started Friday when I won one of my sets in tennis. I really wanted to with both sets but, at least I won one! The kids got out of school early on Friday and we got to go swimming with friends that afternoon! So fun!

It was then out to the ballfield for practice on a perfect night. Not too bad!

Saturdays games were really fun and both boys brought home Ws! Woohoo! Maxwell got to score and had some great plays at 2nd.

Spencer’s game was especially fun because his team came back from an 8 run deficit! He had some monster hits and even caught a pop fly!

Saturday night Robert and I went to dinner at a friend’s house to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of quarantine. March 13th, 2020 is when our world shut down – what a year it has been! Lots of hard but lots of good has come out of it. I’m now vaccinated and Robert got his first shot on Friday so feeling like there is hope on the horizon!

Sunday was another beautiful day full of basketball, baseball, and tennis! Grateful for fantastic weather and fun for all!

It was a sunshiny beautiful day at the ball park for opening day of the season! Woohoo! Both boys played fantastic. Spencer’s team blew out the other team and he had a great hit each time up to bat! Maxwell’s team didn’t take home a win but Maxwell made it to base both times up to bat even if it was off a walk – kid pitch is different!

Both boys also got to score! Can’t beat that!

We sure missed baseball last spring and are so happy to be playing! I think my ballpark baby was even happy to be there and run all around with the siblings.

We also had a special spectator! Even better when Granddaddy is there to watch.
