I was a double queen this day….on a very hot day with some unfortunate sweat marks on my shirt!!
After going through all of the recent pictures, I think this blue shirt must be my lucky shirt! I’ve won a lot in it!

As GJ said about Samantha the other day, “Country Club life is the life for her!” Yep, like mother like daughter! 🙂
Look who played some golf last week? This cute girl!
Samantha did a two day golf clinic with other girls and really enjoyed it!
They were nice and hot after day 1…
but nothing a dip in the pool in the can’t fix! She was excited for day 2…
and had so much fun with her instructor, Mr. Scribbles (aka Trevor)!
Maybe she’ll be the next PGA superstar!
Spencer can never get enough basketball so, after rec and OTM were over, he signed up for Flyers! It’s an AAU team put on by the high school. He had a lot of fun. It was a LOT to do it in addition to baseball and the weekend tournaments out in Cullman weren’t my favorite but, if Spencer is happy then it’s worth it! The games were really just aggressive street ball with full court press the whole time. Spencer definitely improved as the season went on. He can be just as aggressive as those other teams! I was very proud of how hard he played!

Ah, The Dream Team!! Formerly known as The Narwhals, formerly known as The Glitter Unicorns, formerly known as The Sparkle Unicorn Sprinkle Marshmallow Blueberries or was it The Blueberry Cupcake Sparkle Princess Unicorns? Not sure but I do know they’ve always dominated! Samantha has been a soccer star back to her first team, The Lemons, that had 3 of the current team members. This season was no different! They had a great season and Samantha, once again, proved she’s got some mad soccer skills!!
The Dream Team ended the season as undefeated regular season champs!! Woohoo! They had a tough loss in the tournament on a 90 degree day in the direct sun and ended up taking home silver with a second place tournament finish. Still very impressive!
Her footwork was really impressive this season. She can get the ball turned around, make good passes, and she really perfected the POWER KICK! What she brings most though is hustle! She goes after that ball, plays aggressively, and shows that competitive spirit!
She also laughs and giggles and does cartwheels on the sidelines! The perfect combination!
Samantha is a (the?) top scorer so doesn’t ever get to play goalie but she did get to in one game. I think she liked it for a second but then wanted to get back in on that action!
Of course soccer is more fun to play with your friends!
I just love to watch her play. She puts her whole heart into it and I could just burst with pride.
Way to go Samantha, my soccer star!!
