Tennis

It seems it has been a while since I’ve had a tennis post! That is not indicative of my frequency of play! ha! I played on the 4.0 team for the 2023 spring season and we came in first place overall. Yay! I only lost two sets in singles and played second court for all but one match where I played third court. Doubles I lost 4 sets but…I blame my partner for that. Kidding, kidding. The fall soft court season starts soon and I’m the captain of the 4.0 team this year. Will be fun!

Swim Team

We had another great season of swim team this summer…even if it was just Samantha bringing home the ribbons! The boys opted out of swim team this summer but Samantha gave it her all and was a star!! She showed up to practice, gave it her all at every single meet, and had the most fun with lots of buddies! Lots of pics from the season….

I just love what cheering Samantha on and seeing what a good competitor she is. She gives it her all and wants to win but keeps a great attitude. I’m so proud of her dedication and hard work this summer. All of that work paid off too! This girl was High Point winner for her age group!! That means she had the most points at meets of anyone in her age group. Go Samantha Go!!

Bucky Ball

Spencer had a great time at Bucky Ball last week. It’s the best camp around! It’s from 9am to 4pm and Spencer gets to play basketball all. day. long. Can’t beat it! Spencer showed up and showed out all week. In one day he won both Free Throw Champ and Hot Shot Champ! That’s my champ!

He played great and his two shots to tie it in the 4th quarter. They went to a “first basket wins” overtime and sadly the other team pulled out the W. But, Spencer played great!
