We sure do love Dad! He’s the best soccer coach, chess master, bath giver, football teacher, and tickler we could ask for. Here’s to a wonderful year of adventure and fun ahead!

Soccer Star!
I sadly had to miss Maxwell’s first soccer game, but nothing was going to keep me from his second game! On Sunday afternoon we headed out to the drizzly, muggy soccer field with the whole fam in tow! Maxwell and Coach Brown started working on some drills…
while I did my best to entertain Samantha and Spencey on the sidelines! Not the easiest task considering Spencey really wanted to be out on the field with Maxwell. We made it thanks to plenty of gummies! ha!
Baby Mantha was a good cheerleader. I had the go-pod for her…
But she only lasted in that about 5 minutes. Luckily I took the carrier with me so she was happy to hang out there and get a good view of the game.
It got most interesting when Spencey decided he also needed to be held at the same time for the last quarter of the game. Oh my aching back! But, it was all worth it to see Maxwell hustling out on that field!
I loved when he got to kick off from center field too!
Whenever Maxwell wasn’t in the game, Spencer would stand on the sidelines and yell “I want Max-cell!!” ha!
Please note he’s got even more gummies on the arm of his chair! Gummy monster.
Maxwell played great. He got after the ball and scored THREE GOALS!! Go Maxwell go!
Most importantly, he had fun!
When the game was over, Spencer finally got his turn kicking the ball into the goal.
Which then turned into this….
Oh Spencey….you keep things adventurous!
It was a fantastic game 2 and we’re so proud of our super soccer star!
8 months old!
Samantha turned 8 months old on Sunday and she’s the sweetest, happiest little 8 month old girl ever!
I remember LOVING this age with both boys too.
8 months is just full of chubby, happy, sitting babies! 🙂
Samantha has a very happy disposition and only cries when she wants to be picked up. Now, she does like to be picked up a LOT, but that’s ok! She’s nursing 4 times a day and getting some baby food at night. We’ve given her a few finger foods – mainly puffs and yogurt melts – and she’s loved that. She’s a great sleeper – takes a morning nap at 9:00, an afternoon nap at 1:00 and then goes to bed around 6:45pm. She sleeps all night long and when we go into get her around 6:45am, she’ll just be playing in her bed and greet you with the biggest smile!
I’ve said it before, but it’s true – no one makes her smile bigger than her brothers. She loves when they play and interact with her. Maxwell swears he’s heard her say “bruva”. 🙂
This baby is also on the move! It may not be a pretty crawl yet, but this baby is crawling! She can get from one side of the room to the other with no issue at all doing her fancy army crawl using one elbow and sometimes even her head. She’s getting up on her hands and knees a lot and will be crawling like a big girl in no time. We really need to get out those baby gates! I can’t leave her alone for a second…especially not on a chair. She’s going….

and then gone. Yep, she busted on the floor before I could catch her and ended up with a red head.
Not to worry though, after a little love from Honey Bunny…
she was happy again!
I could not love this baby more. She is special and she’s mine and I’m so grateful.

I think I’m going to start saying thank goodness it’s Monday! Why not? It’s the start of another week that I get to spend with my adorable babies.
I mean…how can you dread Monday when you get to see this little face?
How can you have a bad day when you get to squeeze on these chubby legs?
There’s no way to not enjoy Monday when you get to spend it with these funny little people!
