Walked into Samantha’s classroom to pick her up on Monday and she was sitting like this and it made made laugh…

Maxwell got to do preschool drop off with us again on Wednesday…

Finally, Maxwell went back to school yesterday (looking like a teenager!)…

On Monday Samantha looked extra special cute for school because she was wearing another one of my old dresses!

It was also an extra special Monday because Maxwell got to do the preschool drop off with me and even got to see his old teacher Mrs. Edwards! Tonsillectomy recovery isn’t all bad!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! We’re all screaming over here because we’ve had lots and lots of ice cream lately! Cookies n Cream has proven to be the preferred flavor with Cookie Dough a close second.

Baby and Maxwell were enjoying a bowl this past weekend and were cracking me up…

Tonsil update – Maxwell’s doing pretty good! We’ve been staying ahead of the game on the pain meds and he’s handling things well. There’s been plenty of ice cream, milkshakes, pudding, and jello – for all! Spencer and Samantha are surely enjoying Maxwell’s tonsillectomy! ha!

In other non-tonsil news, we had dinner with our neighbors on Sunday night and the kids had a blast…

Maxwell had his first baseball practice with his team on Tuesday. I think it’s going to be a great season. He has two of his class buds on his team which makes it more fun!

Maxwell made it through surgery yesterday. His tonsils are gone and so are his adenoids. The doc said his tonsils were average size but his adenoids were giant and blocking 90% of his airway! Whoa! He had a little issue waking up from the anesthesia and couldn’t breathe well. He started having stridor and they had to give him two breathing treatments. They got it under control and finally got him back out to us. It was a long wait for me and Robert and we were glad to finally get him back, even if he was pretty miserable! We made it home and he’s been resting and drinking whatever he wants – including a milkshake!
