It is good to be SIX! We celebrated this little piece of sunshine all day on her birthday and it sure was fun! The morning started with lots of balloons and breakfast of her choice – Lucky Charms! ha! She’d never had them before and wanted to try them. She didn’t like them! I can’t argue with that.
It was then off to school dressed in her favorite color, of course!
After school we had a little party! We did our best to keep it covid safe by only inviting the girls in her class and by keeping everything outside. I wish the weather had been a bit sunnier and warmer, but we made it work in the garage and on the patio.
While Samantha was at school I got everything all set up…
and even had this big surprise delivered!
The girls quickly got all set up to paint…and were finished in about 12 minutes! ha! Luckily they were happy to just play around with chalk, scooters, gymnastics mats, freeze dance, and Simon says!
Samantha blew out candles with her choice of treats – cookies and ice cream!
I sure do love celebrating my special six year old!!
Samantha got to do a virtual cookie taste test – but she actually got to taste all of the cookies!

She highly recommends the Thin Mints and the Tagalongs. Trefoils and Smores are excellent too. She wasn’t too high on the Samoas but I respectfully disagree! The Lemon Ups were better than we expected but neither of us are fans of the Dosidos (don’t tell Robert – those are his favorite!). The gluten free Toffee-Tastic were a hard pass for us both!
