On the day after Super Bowl Sunday the boys got to wear their Super Bowl shirts to school. Each one had the names of the kids on the team that played for their grade. Pretty neat!
Of course Maxwell was sure to tell Spencer that he couldn’t hold up a #1 because his team didn’t win. Brotherly love.
There were a lot of football posts last week so let’s start this week off with a good dose of Miss Smiley!

On Halloween our neighborhood got together on the corner with a bunch of friends to pre-party before the bigger neighborhood party! We were supposed to get 12 pizzas delivered but Papa John’s decided to just not deliver our order and not let me know! Awesome. We had plenty of food though and we made it work!
We had so much fun being all dressed up with our friends!!

We made our way to the party at the Zanaty’s trick-or-treating along the way. They had a band, food truck, and face paint! You know this girl got her face painted!
Maxwell met up with a big group of friends and trick-or-treated around before heading over to Colonial Hills to meet up with an even bigger group!
Spencer hung with Penton and they made the loop to get candy by themselves.
Samantha took off with Frances and trick-or-treated the whole loop without me! The kids were very self sufficient this year and I’m not complaining one bit!
We all gathered back at the party…
before heading home with the Robisons and the Andersons for some chili, football and baseball…and candy sorting!
Maxwell and crew finally made it back to the house about 9:15…though curfew was 9:00! Overall it was a fantastic night with perfect weather, great friends, and lots and lots of candy!! Happy Halloween!
It was a beautiful sunny day on Halloween and we were ready for fun!! Costumes were looking sharp and excitement was high!!
My little cheshire cat was really getting into cat mode! ha!
Dr. Evil’s bald cap was spot on in my opinion! I think Maxwell was hoping we could have done a pro level makeup job to blend it all in but I can only do so much!

Let the Halloween fun begin!!
On Thursday, Robert and I got to get in on the Halloween fun! We had a tennis mixer for his dogfight up at the club and I put together some pretty clever costumes if I do say so myself!
Where’s the beef?! Finger Licking’ Good! haha! I got pretty much everything off of Amazon and made the name tags and stuff myself after a fast food run.
We started the night at Robert’s office Halloween party. Maxwell had tennis so wasn’t there and the other two didn’t want to go full costume. That was ok though because Robert and I brought the spirit!
We then headed over to the tennis mixer where we had lots of fun and played some pretty bad tennis! Robert was a trooper carrying his bucket around all night and keeping that beard on – until he laughed so hard it popped off! ha!
I do love an excuse to get dressed up!! Fun night!
After a fun Hallo-week the kids had Boo Bash on Friday and got to wear their costumes to school! So fun!! My cheshire cat, Dr. Evil, and Fortnite 8 ball were ready for the best day!

I got up bright and early to get the bald cap on Maxwell and I’m pretty proud of it! He and Jack were quite the duo!

The kids all had different times that they went to the Boo Bash and of course none of them overlapped so I was there all morning with them. It was a dreary rainy cold day so they moved everything inside and under cover but it worked out fine. The kids were just so happy to have Boo Bash that they didn’t care! Samantha was the most happy to have me there, Spencer was glad I was there for a bit, Maxwell could have cared less that I was there! ha! Lots of Boo Bash pictures…

His bald cap came off at lunch and, without it, he was looking much more like Kim Jong-il than Dr. Evil! hahaha!
Overall it was a fantastic Boo Bash and I’m so happy the kids all had a great time!!
