Samantha had her list for Santa made nice and early. Pretty sure she got just about everything on that list. She’s been extra special good after all!

Gingerbread Elf was back this year and up to his old antics! He also brought several fun treats this year! Samantha loooooved going downstairs to find him each morning. Her joy is contagious!
Of course he brought ornaments – a Narwhal for Samantha for her soccer team, a basketball goal for Spencer, and a robot for robotics for Maxwell!

We’ve checked our list twice. We’ve been (mostly) nice all year. We’re ready for Santa!!
Merry Christmas Eve!
There was lots of Christmas cheer up at school last week!
The 5th graders went caroling in the village. They were all decked out!
And they had a big party in the auditorium for the whole grade with gift exchanges for the boys and girls. Loved getting to be around them all together!
I then got to go to the 1st grade party where the girls and boys did separate book exchanges. Love this sweet age!

On Friday everyone was happy for the last day of school, especially Samantha who got to wear pjs!
I was happy Spencer finally got to go back to school so I could go up and be the mystery guest in his class! I took blank notecards and $5 Starbucks cards and had the kids make Christmas cards for people around the school and then they all ran off to deliver them. It was a hit! I also read them a Christmas book.
It’s been so nice to be back in the classroom after no one was allowed in last year. I don’t take it for granted!! Thankful for this great school and all the fun holiday activities they planned!
