Our Tuesdays are turning into our busiest day! This week after school on Tuesday we had golf…

soccer…

A football game (they lost)…

and another football game (they won!)…

and scouts!

We can pack a lot in between 3:00 and 8:00!
Capturing our adventures one photo at a time...

Maxwell went on another scout campout a few weeks ago and had a great time! Robert joined in on this one too.

They were originally supposed to go on a two day campout that included some sort of hiking but that got changed so they ended up at the indoor climbing place to work on that badge. Maxwell wasn’t complaining!

Spencer also completed his Bear year but I have no photos of that so here’s a pic of him in his uniform back in November that I don’t think I ever shared!

Samantha continues to do Girl Scouts!

Hope they are all learning to always be prepared!
Last weekend Maxwell went on his first official Boy Scout campout!

They got to go explore a cave and it sounded pretty cool. I think it’s safe to say this crew can have fun just about anywhere.

Robert had to miss out on this campout to stay home and coach Maxwell’s baseball game that he missed! Ugh. But, there will be many more campouts in the future for these two to do together. Maxwell had a great time and seems to be excited about his new troop!
Maxwell had his crossover ceremony last weekend officially graduating from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. It was a really special afternoon for a very special group of boys. This crew started with 13 boys in 1st grade and 11 of them have stuck together through all of Cub Scouts! That’s a lot of meetings, campouts and pinewood derbies and I’m very proud of them all!

They earned their Arrow of Light and Robert got to try and get that pin on the pocket! No pressure! ha!

Cub scouts has been such a great experience for Maxwell. Mostly, he’s had a lot of fun because he’s gotten to do it with his best buddies and the very best Dad around! However, the differentiator for this troop was their Scoutmaster, John Scott. He has been a top notch leader, encourager, and supporter of these boys since day one. They simply would not have all stuck it out and made it this far without him.

This motley crew is headed in two directions for Boy Scouts – half going to one troop and half going to the other. Everyone is making the right decision for themselves but it is sad to see the group split up. So thankful for the years they had together and the memories made.

I sure am proud of my scout!

I can’t wait to see how far he goes in Boy Scouts. He went to his first meeting Tuesday night and I think he’s got Eagle on his mind! It all happened to fast from first year as a Tiger…

to first year as a Boy Scout!

Scout’s honor!
Last week Samantha was a cookie selling machine! We helped with a booth outside of city hall on a very sunny but very cold and windy day!

And this little girl learned all about advertising!

All she needed was a giant sign to spin!

We even sold some cookies to these goof balls…

and some to the Mayor!! Pretty cool!

He handed out Million Dollar bills…

and we took that Million Dollar bill in to city hall the next week and got some Starburst for it! Good deal!

Cookies and candy and a really cute girl! Can’t beat it!
